Minnesotas finest rhomped all over the stage in Auckland last Thursday and after seeing, hearing and shooting them in the cosier confines of the old Fu Bar a few years back it was nice to know they could also make the Studio as cosy and manic. Slug is a beast of an emcee and covering off all the material Atmosphere has put out probably wouldn’t be feasible but what they did perform would have satisfied many of their fans and it bought a smile to my inner backpacker. Hearing “Woman with the Tattooed Hands” two tracks into the set was nothing short of awesome. Too choice.

A few weeks ago we were asked to sponsor this competition for kids at Vic park. Initially it sounded like a great idea - who wouldn’t like to see more kids skating? - but after further investigation (and a few words of caution from friends) we decided against being involved, and that it was being put on by the wrong people for the wrong reasons.
We had no idea that the reality was going to be far worse than we could have imagined. Kids were given spray cans and encouraged to tag sponsors names all over the prisitine new Vic park, a rehab clinic was the primary sponsor, and as for the rest, the video tells the story better than I could.
Finally, respect to Leighton Dyer for stepping in and sticking up for the little guy. You sir, are a hero.

think of the biggest fuck-off quiz/guessing game times 10,000,000, and you probably still wouldn’t get the equilavent to this game. I got as far as level 52 (with help of @sunflowerswirl and Ben Healey) with hints, and was still heavely mindFACKED.

1) Pen (that works, with alot of ink)
2) Paper (a fair bit of it)
3) Google (look for some of the cures, clues and hints)

that depends - if you mean human experience I would say a couple weeks ago with my Ex - twas interesting. If you mean as in when was the last time I felt human, Id say about 2 minutes ago….
